Cucumbers grown to eat fresh are called slicing cucumbers. The humble Green Cucumber is an ideal accompaniment to salads and sandwiches. Why not grate some into yoghurt with garlic and make tzatziki . Enjoy while in season from September through to January. Ours come from the Granite Belt and Mt Tamborine.
