Custard Apples are a decadent and deliciously sweet sub-tropical fruit. They have a fragile exterior, so a couple of spots or blemishes on the skin is normal, the flesh inside will still be great. Once ripe they are best stored in the fridge. For breakfast why not try Custard apple topped with shredded coconut and nuts. You can get Custard apples from April to August. Ours are grown in the Tweed Valley.
