Jap pumpkins, also known as Kent pumpkins, have yellow-orange flesh that is soft and dry and features a nutty flavour. This pumpkin cuts easily and can be grilled, roasted or steamed. The most popular pumpkin out there - lots of rich flesh, easy to peel and delicious any which way you cook it. Available from August to March.
