Sweet Potato, Gold

Gold sweet potatoes are a good source of fibre and an excellent source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Potassium, Folate and Calcium. The skin can be left on (scrub well) or peeled. Just like potatoes they can be sliced, diced, baked whole, sautéed, barbecued, fried or microwaved. Serve as a vegetable with roasts, mash on own or add to potatoes. Gold sweet potatoes are available from March to December and these are sourced from Bundaberg and the Lockyer Valley .
